Blinded Veterans Association Vet Tech podcast

The Blinded Veterans Association invited Chef Debra as a guest on their February podcast.

The privilege of participating in the Blinded Veterans Association’s “Vet Tech” podcast was such and honor for me. Veterans hold a special place in many hearts – mine included. Many members of my family have served: my husband, my son, my father, uncles, brothers and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews…. this list goes on and on.

If you are a veteran reading this, thank you for your service.”

Chef Debra

Chef Debra also worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto, California for 13 years and formed many bonds with veterans who needed care in the Homeless Veteran’s Rehabilitation Program. This only deepened her respect for our nation’s veterans.

She mentioned that the Blinded Veterans podcast group was great to interact with, with intelligent questions and lots of humor.  She is looking forward to speaking with them again on May 28, 2024.
